There are two types of ratings assigned by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) to movie trailers.
Green-band trailer
A green band rating signifies that it is devoid of violent scenes or foul language, therefore, adequate for all audiences.

Red-band trailer
This rating is given to movie trailers of R-rated movies with age-restricted, “mature” audience. These trailers may include nudity, profanity, or other material considered inappropriate for children.
